In honor of football season, we thought it appropriate that Cooper pose with his football for his 9 month picture. -Also, we needed more toys to keep him occupied while trying to take this shot! Cooper's list of accomplishments got even longer this month - he's still "commando" crawling, but now he can pull up into a standing position like a pro. - He pulls up on everything - the dishwasher, low window sills, drawers, coffee tables, chairs, etc....He gets a kick out of swinging doors back and forth and he's especially fascinated with our glass shower door. He tries to open it, but hasn't been successful yet. However, he did successful open one of my kitchen cabinet doors, so it's time to baby proof all doors now.
A few weeks ago, Cooper said "Ma-ma-ma-ma" repeatedly, but I haven't heard those sweet sounds in weeks! His latest sound is "HEY!" He also likes to growl loudly:)
Cooper just can't wait to get the day going - Josh and I are typically awakened around 5:30 am, but I can usually feed him and get him to sleep with me for another hour. We're hoping this is just a phase (a long phase). ...Is it a phase? Will he ever sleep until 7:00???
While Cooper is an active and curious baby, he still likes to be held and he still needs to cuddle for a few minutes after he wakes up from a nap. We love our sweet, playful baby boy!

I hope you've videotaped the commando crawl - that is just too cute!
Keenan had such a great time playing with his buddy tonight. Cooper is such a sweet boy - I love the football pictures!
Happy 9 months, Cooper. Jack and Josie would love to play sometime. Hello to your parents!
