One Year with Cooper

Cooper turned one year old December 28th. Our little baby is turning into quite the toddler...so lovable and so active. Below his pictures Josh and I wrote several items which we think make Cooper one of a kind.

Cooper, you are fearfully and wonderfully made! God created your inmost being and knit you together. You are unique in so many ways:

You've never sucked your thumb or for that matter sucked on a pacifier for very long, but when you're tired, you find comfort in placing your pointer finger in between you upper lip and you nose.

Since you were about 7 months old, whether you're inside the house or outdoors your world stops when you hear an airplane.

You love dishwashers. If you hear me open ours, you speed crawl into the kitchen.

You like to hang upside down.

You embrace the vacuum cleaner as your favorite household appliance.

You cry when your daddy and I get you ready for bed (most of the time).

If we have company, you would rather grace them with your presence than take a nap.

You "hug" your little friends by rubbing your head next to theirs.

Buttons! You love buttons! The garage door button, the buttons on the key pad at Wal-Mart, and your latest discovery - the buttons on my food-processor.

You're impartial to blue - you would only play with your blue ring while completely disregarding the orange, yellow, red or green ones.

You have the cutest smile!
