Cooper enjoyed spending Easter afternoon with his grandparents...and his parents enjoyed their afternoon relaxing:)

We celebrated Easter morning at our church, Prestonwood, where Josh and I met and where we've both grown in the Lord since.

Have you heard of Scott Wilder who has an afternoon radio program on 100.7? Josh listened to him one afternoon while he was sharing an Easter tradition he does with his kids - visit: http://www.wildershow.com/
to see the Easter Story Cookie recipe. We made these cookies with Cooper while sharing what Jesus did for us on the cross so that we may know God personally. Hope you all had a special day! Love, the Cobbs

What a sweet and restfull Easter Day!
So glad, Jen, Josh and Cooper that you were able to come over! Sorry no "home feast" was provided, but, as always, Vanpappy is glad to treat us somewhere! We all rested and played out in "our??" "Big Back Yard"...hole #3!! and under "our" huge Mesquite tree by the pond! Loved seeing Cooper run down the slope and quaked at the ducks!! Thanks for "the memories!!"
We love ya!! Abuelita
that last picture of Josh and Cooper is adorable (not that the one of you and Cooper isn't, Jenny :) They just look like two men.
My sister is naming her new baby Cooper! so i've got two little "nephews" named Cooper...
love and miss you,
Christine
I love that recipe. Another great tool for teaching kids about Easter are FamilyLife's Resurrection eggs. It is a 12-day devotion to prepare them for the risen Christ! They open an egg each day and learn more about the events leading up to Easter. It's similar to the Jesse advent tree we also do at Christmas - awesome!
Cooper is so handsome....a little miniature pastel Polo boy after his VanPappy's heart!
