Family

After spending time in "L.A."(Lower Alabama as Josh has informed me) we drove north to Anniston, AL for Family Reunion - and we didn't take a single picture! I guess we were having too much fun visiting with family members and eating steak.
Then we drove 20 minutes to Aunt Laura Leigh's in Jacksonville...where we did happen to snap a few a shots. Below are some priceless photos from our time there and of our 4th of July celebration.
Cooper and his great aunt shared many sweet moments in the garden digging in the dirt. Laura Leigh grows tomatoes, squash, okra, and eggplant. Unfortunately, the vegetables weren't ripe yet, but we did have some homemade fried green tomatoes.

Our family's first ever 4th of July celebration in a corn field! We must get Cooper out into the country more often - when Josh playfully put Cooper behind 3 rows of corn stalks, Cooper shouted, "Stuck!"

Cooper's favorite word is "truck" - in fact he wakes up saying "truck" and he doesn't stop saying it until he goes to bed. So, he loved steering this WWII Air Force Ambulance.

Josh successfully captured some very cool pictures of Jacksonville's fireworks!

Hi Jenny :)

I ran across your blog today. I love the picture of Cooper in the truck! TOO CUTE! It was good meeting you on Sunday! Are you going to be at the play group tomorrow? I'm thinking about going. If not, see you and Josh Sunday!
