Lots of big "firsts" this month! Caroline began "commando crawling" and she drags her feet behind her as she scoots around. Standing (while holding our hands) is her new favorite thing ~ when I try to sit her down, she straightens her legs and arches her back! She's also saying "Hi" now when she waves. Today I said, "We're going bye-bye," and she started waving:)
New favorites also include solid foods...I fed her spaghetti today and she loved it. She's snubbing her baby food, but I can still get her to eat plain yogurt everyday. Caroline weighs 17 pounds and I was pleased to hear she's in the 20th percentile for babies her age - and I think she's put on even more weight since her 9 month appointment. Everyone who sees her comments how long she is, too (65th percentile). - Not that these percentages are that important to me....the fact that Caroline is growing is what's important:)
Her red hair is growing longer and thicker....and at times she acts like a feisty red head, too! Some separation anxiety has set in as she likes Mama to play right next to her when we're home. And now when I lay her down for her nap, she'll usually add some drama by crying for a few seconds....then in goes the thumb.
Yes, a tooth has broken through and she's working on her second which should make an appearance any day now. She is too much fun!

Caroline after the "diaper incident" - this is the day I learned not to ever lay our baby girl down for a nap without putting her pants on....she can take her diaper off!
