One Year

Our baby girl is one-year-old! She walks, talks, and acts like a one-year-old:) She literally transformed into a toddler overnight! Caroline is doing so many new things and she is understanding so much as well. "All done", "Da" (Dad), and "Hi" are the words I most often hear her say. She knows what "No" means and when we say it to her she nods her head back and forth. The other day she took off with the remote control and all Josh had to say was "Caroline" - she dropped it at his feet and kept on walking:) However, she also shows us her sensitive side by crying when we correct her. I like to describe her as sugar and spice - she's got lots of both:) The girl is acting silly, too. She makes us laugh when she swings her arms as she walks through the kitchen like she's bored and looking for something to do.
Caroline, you have brought our family so much joy - you are a treasure to us. You were the sweetest, quietest, most gentle and easy-going baby we've ever known. Your dad asked me if something was wrong with you when you were two weeks old because he hadn't heard you cry yet! Although you've grown more vocal, you are still easy to please, Baby Girl. We're thankful God made you YOU! We look forward to watching how God grows you! We love you! Happy Birthday!
