Rocky Mountain High

We took a family vacation to Steamboat Springs, CO and loved every minute of it (minus a few tantrums)! Our dear friends let us use a week at their condominium club and we think it was the nicest place we've ever stayed. Caroline kept asking us, "My hotel?" Cooper slept in his own king size bed - with Mommy and Daddy across the hall in their king size bed (a treat for us, too!). We spent as much time as possible outdoors ~
We took the gondola to the top of this mountain and walked an easy .8 mile hike - stopping for a picnic lunch and some scenic pictures.
Cooper would run and then just sit and roll in the dirt

Sister started a little apprehensive about our gondola ride, but brother held her close.

Cooper asked us if we could live here - this was after we took him to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory:) Later he asked if we could go home and get his "Paw-Paw" truck and then come back.
Such a sweet picture of Caroline:) Our little angel talked most of the way on our 16 hour drive to CO - most people probably don't know what a chatterbox she is because she sucks her thumb so much.

The Wild West Air Show!

See-saw....another day at the park - in the middle of the day:)

Caroline had a rough start, but she really did enjoy riding "Cinnamon"
Cooper rode "Buddy" and behaved like a little cowboy:)

Classic! Check out Caroline's pouting in action!

What a coincidence! I was there with the boys and my parents at the end of July. What a beautiful place! I'm impressed your kids made the hike. Kyle made it 100 yards down the trail and lost it. The gondola was a hit, though!
