Sarah Jane's sweet little face grows rounder each month and so do her little thighs - love it! I think she's still petite, but we know she's thriving. Three significant characteristics stand out about Sarah Jane as a baby. The first is she smiles at us as soon as she gets one eye open. I love to lay her on our bed after she's woken up or after I've woken her up and then see those big just waking up smiles. The second memorable characteristic is she strongly dislikes the car. Pretty much the only time she doesn't cry in the car is if I sit in the back seat so she can see me or so I can keep the pacifier in her mouth. We're looking forward to when she grows out of this stage:) Last, Sarah Jane is our first baby who likes to suck on a pacifier. We put one in her mouth to soothe her to sleep each time we lay her down. She's slept through the night (12 hours) one time without waking up, but most of the time I'm putting the pacifier back in her mouth at least a couple of times in the wee hours of the morning.....we have a love/hate relationship with her paci, but we're mostly thankful for how it soothes our baby girl. We just can't get enough of this little one! She's like our family mascot:)-
The fun is just beginning with Sarah Jane as we watch her lovable personality blossom!

Jenny, this is Mari Rogers. Sara Jane is so beautiful!! I can't believe she is already 3 months old. McKenzie has always hated the car since the day she was born. I use to think being turned around maybe made her car sick, but even after turning her around at age 1 she still would cry and scream. Now at almost 2 she is pretty good with a movie and a snack. I never believed in tv's in the car until I had to travel 40 minutes to clc and now I love them. It was either me stressed out by the time I got to work or a peaceful drive.
She is a great baby, but that has just always been her thing. She never liked the swing either or anything that contained her so I am kind of thinking that is the issue with the car.
I really hope things get better in that situation because I know it can be hard when you are driving. You have a precious family!!!
Our sweet GKs are THE BEST!! The
Lord has blessed us all immensely!
And Jen, you and Josh have been
wonderful parents!! Continue to seek His guidance as you both do already.
Love you all, Wella
