After Cooper woke up from his nap yesterday, he told me his trucks needed to take a nap. He pulled his nap sack off his bed and then turned his car and truck on their sides! Then he proceeded with the rest of our routine by grabbing his pillow and blankie....then books. So, Cooper obviously enjoys his naptime routine - except for the part when Mommy leaves the room.
Cooper is sleeping full-time in his "big boy bed", but we're still having a few transition issues. For instance, last night after books and prayer it was time for Cooper to go to sleep, but every time I left the room, he'd moan, "Ma-Ma" and get out of his bed and stand at the door crying. After an hour of me trying to get him to go to sleep, Josh needed to intervene (I was trying to let him enjoy the Auburn game). Wouldn't you know it, five minutes later Cooper was asleep. And, we didn't hear him all night...until 6:15 this morning! I know with patience and prayer Cooper will be practicing some better sleep habits soon...preferably before his sister arrives :)
