Two months for number two

"Pumpkin", "Sweetie", "Love Bug", "Baby Girl"...are just a few names we call our Caroline...Oh, and Cooper calls her "Baby Caroline". She is almost 10 weeks old and is such a delight to us. These pictures show a few of her sweet smiles and her pleasant disposition. The poor girl has been just slightly fussy this week due to a bad cold passed on to her from all of us. We hate to hear our 2 month old cough, but thankfully she's on the road to recovery.
She weighed 11.4 at her 2 month appointment, so she's gained exactly 4 pounds since birth....and she's rapidly outgrowing her clothes. I'm dressing her in all her 3 month Christmas outfits now because in a week or two I think she'll be too long for them.
A few nights ago Josh and I went to check on Caroline and we found her sucking on her hand and even getting her thumb in her mouth a few times. We smiled as we watched her find success! I'm also thankful she's found a way to soothe herself if necessary. Our babies are growing so quickly and we praise God for his creation and for entrusting us with these children!

I think Caroline is more "oral" than Cooper was~ she is more easily soothed by the pacifier(or the bunny) than he.

Sorry about the shadow in this picture...I'm not a pro like Josh when it comes to using our Nikon. But, I think Santa Cobbs may be getting me a little point and shoot for Christmas:)
