Our baby girl is already six-months-old! She has been such a monkey this month - growing more and more active and curious. She grabs everything in reach...and I can see her desire for the things she can't reach. We've started solid foods and she's doing fine eating her cereal, but I think she mostly just wants me to put the spoon in her mouth - which I have to do quickly before she can grab a hold of it:) Caroline lets us know that she would like our attention more than she has in previous months. We often hear a "wah-wah" when we lay her down or she'll holler out for us if we leave her in her jumper and she wants out. Thankfully, she is sleeping so much better....about 11 hours a night (this week that is).
Caroline weighs 14.9 lbs which is on the petite end of baby girls her age (21%), but her doctor says she's "growing nicely". My biggest concern is her sensitive skin ~ we battled a horrible diaper rash last week and I keep the rest of her body lathered in Aquaphor. Sunscreen will definitely be our best friend this summer!

Kaelin had some pretty bad diaper rash for a while and eventually we were able to solve the problem by a) using baby powder every time we changed her diaper (which may sound like a no-brainer but there are a lot of people who don't use it these days) and b) eliminating some of the foods from her diet, like kiwis. Caroline probably isn't eating kiwis yet, but there may be something else she's sensitive to.
