Destination weddings ~ One of the benefits of Josh's photography business. Josh and I got a paid vacation to the Dominican Republic so we could photograph a wedding. What an experience! Our parents cared for Cooper and Caroline during our 5 day trip, so we were able to work, then relax. ...and relax we did. Once we were done with the wedding photography our biggest decision to make was whether we were going to take a nap by the pool or by the beach.
Note ~ the above picture is not of our resort. This was a 5-star-resort NEXT to ours. Josh and I walked around it, played a few rounds of ping-pong, then took a dip in the pool before we realized we weren't supposed to be there.
Our lush resort with flowers, palm trees and even some random exotic birds walking around. We had our own flamingos and we saw a chicken sleeping our first night there:)Josh expanded his Spanish vocabulary while in the Dominican. Now, he can say more than just "Hola!" He practically sounded fluent with his "Gracias" and "Buenos Dias!"
Mama and Papa on the beach after the wedding.... We enjoyed our time together, but were definitely missing the kids by the end of our trip - more than they missed us!

LOVE that last picture of you and Josh. Jenny, you are so photogenic and beautiful!! Yes, definitely a framer photo. :) Glad y'all found some time to relax and enjoy your time away.
