I knew this baby was going to arrive early, but I wouldn't have guessed Thursday, December 10th. That day was like any other Thursday ~ Caroline and I ran a couple of errands while Cooper spent the day at MDO. Then we all came home and while the kids were napping I did some work on the computer....and that's when my contractions began. I was in denial at first, thinking these low cramps were something else, but then I sent Josh a text "911". He immediately called me and I told him, "I'm not sure, but I think I'm in the early stages of labor." ~ I think I told him the exact same thing with Cooper and Caroline. Josh came home and packed his bag and Nana came over to watch the kids.
I really, really watned to try a VBAC with this delivery, so my doctor told me to come in as soon as my labor began. However, once we were at the hospital both my doctor and my nurse pleaded (gave a huge guilt trip) with Josh and me not to attempt the VBAC due to various concerns. I gave in and agreed to the C-section. Although I hated the idea of another C-section, Josh and I wanted a safe delivery and we were anxious to know if this baby was a boy or a girl.
We called our families and told them to hustle to the hospital ~ this baby was coming soon! Sarah Jane Cobbs entered the world at 8:33 PM!

Sarah Jane all dressed and ready to go home.
Taking Sarah Jane home with us.....The first time we left the hospital with our baby (Cooper), Josh and I kept saying the whole experience felt "surreal" in that we couldn't believe we were now parents. We felt a little more confident taking baby #3 home:)
