Sisters

I can only imagine how Caroline is absorbing the whole idea of us bringing her baby sister home. Does she understand that Sarah Jane is here to stay? Does she understand that she is now Sarah Jane's big sister like Cooper is her big brother? Or does she just think Sarah Jane is our very own live baby doll?
Caroline loaded Sarah Jane down with all her favorite blankies and lovies....she's learning to care for her sister. And nothing is more delightful than getting to put a pacifier in her baby sister's mouth! If only I could teach Caroline not to take the pacifier out of her sister's mouth!
Don't worry! We made sure Sarah Jane could still breathe:)



My friends who have two girls tell me they are excited that Caroline and Sarah Jane have one another as sisters. I grew up with a brother and didn't get a sister (officially) until 6 years ago when my brother married my sister-in-law who is now one of my dearest friends. I pray Caroline and Sarah Jane grow together as best friends and that they always, always love one another unconditionally.
