I get asked all the time, "How's life with three kids?" My first response is, "Life is great! We feel blessed!" Life is also busier and we find ourselves juggling more and more. I don't typically get out with all three kiddos and prefer to mostly stay home with them. But we wouldn't trade this adventure for anything else on earth.
Today, I took my three munchkins to the library despite the rain outside. When I turned on my windshield wipers, I asked myself if I was crazy to be making this effort! Sarah Jane is crying in the back (as she always does in the car), Caroline wants me to hand her her bag, and Cooper is telling me that "bike" starts with the letter "B". -- All simultaneously. And I'm responding to each one....singing the "The Wheels on the Bus go round and round..." for Sarah Jane, telling Caroline, "No, Mommy can't hand you your bag," and "Yes, Cooper. Bike does start with the letter B". And I wonder why I'm totally exhausted by 8 PM:)
We had a happy time at the library going to Story Time with our friends. Then Cooper got his very own library card today (because Mommy forgot hers). Caroline found this Princess Encyclopedia that weighed as much as she did and wanted to take it home (not this time). And Sarah Jane slept on me in the Baby Bjorn during her first trip to the library.
At home with our audio books....Caroline lasted for 2 minutes listening to hers:)
Cooper loves these - he listened contently to his two audio books. Do you like our old-school Discmen the kids are using?
Sweet Sarah Jane played on her activity mat.
Our outing was worth it today! The kids are all soundly napping now:)
